Little Miracle

We are so excited to annouce that our dear friends, Dan and Ashley Henry, just had thier first baby. He is a precious teeny boy, Calvin Daniel Henry, born August 20th. He was 7lbs and 20" long. Ash and Dan were in the accident with us and this little boy is truly a miracle baby. God answers prayers and loves us so much.

We love you Dan, Ashley and baby Calvin! Congrats!

Today my beautiful sister turned 22. She is such a sweetie and I am so thankful we are the best of friends. Happy Birthday Sitter!

Day at the Lake

The other day Matt and I met my friend Becky and her siblings at the Lake. It was the most perfect weather and we had to take advantage of it! I wish I had a picture of the trail that Matt had to walk down to get to this spot....he definitely has bragging rights. It was kind of steep, rocky, uneven, and slippery. I was SO proud of him! He is such a champ.

We are so brave to dive into the COLD water...and actually, it was pretty warm as far as Vallecito Lake goes!

How silly can we get?!?!

We just went to a mini family reunion with my Dad's side of the fam. It was a lot of fun. Micheala, Matt, John-Isaac and I ran around taking rediculous pictures, it was pretty silly! Here are some of our shots. I will post more about the trip in a few days.

Celebrating 3 Years!!

3 years!!!!!!

Today, August 13th, is our third wedding anniversary. I had to work today, so we went out on Saturday. We left Kaden with my parents for the night and headed over to Pagosa Springs, a town near us. We went to dinner at Tequila's and had the most wonderful time. The food was great and the view from our table was beautiful.

After dinner we headed over to the hot springs. There are over 15 pools of different temperatures. There are bridges, waterfalls, beautiful flowers everywhere, and the springs are right next to the river. It was an amazing night. The sky was gorgeous. It had just rained and there were rainbows everywhere! We had such a lovely time just the two of us.

I am so happy to have this wonderful man in my life. He is the best husband. The last three years have been unlike anything I could have imagined. We've already been through so much, but I look forward to spending an eternity with my wonderful husband. We are both so blessed to have found each other, and to truly and unconditionaly love one another.
